People tend to associate "tutoring" with a struggling student.  This is unfortunate.  Technically, a tutor is a person charged with the instruction and guidance of another as:

a:  a private teacher

b.  a teacher,..who gives individual instruction,...

No where does the definition of a tutor mention 'a struggling student.'  So, why do we tend to think of, or look for, a tutor only when a student is experiencing difficulties?
